1976 Canada Olympic Sterling Silver Coins Set $5 $10 28 Coins in Box
1976 Olympics held in Montreal, Canada. Coins are sealed in plastic cases. Each coin is 92.5% silver for a net silver weight of 44.955 grams (1.4453 troy ounces) and 22.478 grams (0.7227 troy ounces) of sterling silver respectively. This information was sourced online and has not actually be tested by yours truly! A tiny mark on the top covers left corner, as well as a tiny mark on the bottom covers center.
Both appear to have scratched the first layer of the cases cover material. Condition of coins & plastic covering. Close inspection reveals a few hairline scratches on some of the plastic cases / coverings.The coins show marks / discolorations in four places; in order of the photos listed, please note. Discoloration to the right of 1976; Marbled discoloration above Montreal.
Discoloration on the Queens face/neck and all throughout right side of her face from crown tip down into Canada 1973. Discoloration above Queens head down to her mouth level over to 1975 and down to Canadian Emblem. Discoloration along the bottom rim from Elizabeth to 1976.
