The designs for this sixth series of Canadian Olympic coins came from contest winner and graphic designer Shigeo Fukuda. These proof coins are made from specially selected sterling silver blanks, and are struck twice in the presses, producing a distinguished edge and raising effect. This gives the coins great detail, and a mirror finish. These coins contain 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper alloy. The coins come with matching display stand.Every case fits perfectly in this matching display stand. This set will be a great addition to any coin collection! 1 of 7 proof sets does not include the certificate of authenticity. As you can see from the photos, the cases do have some visible wear. The total weight is 30.24 troy ounces.
