Complete set of Olympic themed coins issued in conjunction with the Moscow Olympics 1980. The set consists of 14 Five Rouble coins (16.67g ea) and 14 Ten Rouble coins (33.3g each) that have a total Actual Silver Weight (ASW) of 20.2 ounces of pure silver 22.49 ozt. The set comes as shown in a velvet lined presentation case that has two trays, one with 17 coins and the other holding 11 coins.
These coins were issued between 1977 and 1980 under authority of the Government of the USSR. Unless stated otherwise, all listings are guaranteed to be genuine.
