This set was issued for the 2008 Olympics which was held in Beijing. The two Gold 150 yuan coins feature designs of Olympic events. The four Silver 1 oz Proof coins depict children playing traditional games combined with a colorized element.

Contains 0.667 oz of. 999 Gold and 4 oz of. Coins come in capsules within a wooden case along with a certificate of authenticity.

Obverse: Features a different design for each series. Reverse: Displays the emblem from the XXIX Olympiad.

The obverse of the gold coins in this set features the title of the PRC (People's Republic of China), the year of mintage, the traditional Chinese dragon image and the emblem of the Olympic Games. The reverse of both coins displays a different Chinese Olympic event. The obverse of the silver coins in this set shows the title of the PRC (People's Republic of China), the year of mintage, the traditional Chinese dragon image and the emblem of the Olympic Games. The reverse of one depicts the Beijing Opera with the colored design of the traditional Chinese Beijing opera mask. The second depicts the folk dance of yangge with the Chinese traditional design - paper-cut. The third depicts the folk lion dance with the Chinese traditional design of folk shadowgraph. The final coin depicts a Chinese teahouse, and the colored design of the Spring Festival Picture "nianhua".
